a car ran through a red light. a 15 year old passenger was killed. we are still trying to confirm whether this was a hit-and-run. we're still trying to get this confirmed at this time. as soon as we have more information we're going to send it back to you. but right now the intersection is open and does not look like traffic is affected here. >> reporter: darryl, you can see a lot of green on the map behind me. moving fine. just a little slowing from some of the last of the construction you can see going on colfax from 120th. the rest of the drive looks

c222 looks good. the snow though is coming down pretty hard over vail pass. traction laws are in effect. and loveland pass is closed right now. >> reporter: a good 6-12 inches of snow through the mountains. things are pretty calm now, but by about 8:00 you can see a few of the counties in gold under a high wind watch. fort collins, genesee, we could see gusts from 50-75 miles per hour. temperatures in the mid 50s between 11 and 12:00. then highs near 60-degrees today. the warmup continues. today back to near 60-degrees, even warmer by the middle of the week.

>> thank you, lisa. it's 5:02 now. peyton manning was mentioned in a lawsuit filed by the university of tennessee. >> reporter: this is really a complicated case that involves several unnamed plaintiff's alleging several incidents over the course of several years all at the university of tennessee. now one paragraph in that 64 page lawsuit includes the name peyton manning. now this is not a new allegation but once again brings up the 1996 incident where manning is accused of placing his gentiles on the manager. he said he was quote,"mooning a teammate." the university of tennessee was inddfferent towards sexual assaults allegedly done by its

restriction we had out east. it is fairly mild, it is windier up along near i-70 and genesee. down closer to pueblo and trinidad 20s and 30s. snow continues and it doesn't look super impressive, sometimes very tough to see it falling, but as you get over some of the higher mountain passes, but it's still there. we still have a winter weather advisory in efffct for the mountains. spots like fort collins we're under a high wind watch that goes into effect at 8:00 this morning. futurecast you will find some light to moderate snow continues through midday in the mountains, if you are headed home from the high country this afternoon it's going to be icy.
